Yeah man, a good plate of ackee & saltfish with some boiled dumplings. Another fav Jamaican dish would be chicken and rice & peas ... wait ... is that considered a Jamaican dish?

It's all in your mind. You're just anticipating having it again. That's why it seems to taste better. It's an illusion of perception.
I know, I know. Y'all must be thinking: Why does Xeno have to always come in with some smart@$$ed remark and spoil everyone's fun?
Well, the answer is simple:
I LOVE bursting bubbles. :icon_twis

Ackee + Saltfish with
Roast breadfuit with
Roast yam stuffed with butter and saltfish
and a serving of festival to round it out
+ a tall glass of soft drink.
Can anyone spell "Road Trip"? :D
Rice 'n Peas + Chicken is a derivative of East Indian cuisine that has now become a part of our culture.
FACT: Americans rarely eat rice with their dinner. But black people all over the world do. ;)
How curious is that? :D
