Do you know someone who does not tell the truth? And they like to fabricate there stories and make everything about them elaborate. Why must they continue to embellish the truth? What do you do about a person like this or do you deal with them at all and what if it is a friend of yours.

A person like that tends to have low self-esteem or has an insecurity complex. The best thing to do if you're a close friend is to discreetly advise them that their line of approach isn't helping them and the best thing to do is to come straight. Also try to encourage them and affirm some positives in them.

I think most people tell their own version of the truth. Yes I do know a person like you describe and she does it because she really has nothing going on in her life... so she makes things up, or exaggerates to impress people. My friend group has told her already to stop it but she insists that she never liese. We know different..

Well we all they that politicians deviate from the truth. But this is more in the line of someone who is close to you like a personal friend.
