hmmm I have noticed that in most of my interactions on BBS's people assume alot. Greengungo for example most of the people that replied to her first thread thought she was an he. hmmmm
Are we not aware how dangerous assumption is? Why do we assume? How can we groom ourselves not to assume? Is it possible not to assume all together and just wait on the facts? :eusa_thin

simple people tend to get bits and pieces of information and form a conclusion without all the facts. Sometimes even without any piece of information they form a conclusion and most times it's the wrong conclusion

It's a way of life Greatis...we assume when we don't have all the facts and can't get it, or because everything seems to point that way and many of us don't bother to look any further.
You know what they say about assuming? When you assume you make an Azz of U and Me ;)

There is no way anyone can know everything, so assumptions have to be made based on previous experiences, whether right or wrong.
It is also said that assumptions are the Mother of all **** ***, and that the word ***-u-me can be broken down into a three word sentence (asterisks were intentional). :icon_mrgr

ok with that said can't people just assume and keep their assumptions until they get facts why just blurt it out much to their own humiliation in the end.
