I know I am new and everything and but I would like to make a few suggestions, you can use if you want or not up to you really, I am not trying to change the site of anything but; here are my suggestions:)
1. Instead of having an Introduction thread, how about a introduction forum where new member can introduce themselves and we welcome them
2. How about having a debate forum where we can debate on what going on in the world, like legalizing abortion, the death penalty and etc.
Thats it for now!:eusa_sile

I think the same can be accomplished with the thread. What added benefits would a sub-forum bring to the table?

This suggestion seems ok. Debates used to take place a bit more regularly, back in the days of Xeno. I think some persons even developed Xenophobia (fear of Xenocrates in this instance). Creating a separate sub-forum could serve to centralize debates for easy access. One might argue however that the debates should remain in the forum that best suits their contents.

A subforum would be just fine

But knowing Chris, he'll say that threads already serve the purposes for debating thus there is no need for a sub-forum. Then Arch Angel will toot in with his input and agree and even try to elaborate. BCK will post "aye caramba ", Cocoa will say we should read the site rules and be more cooperative... Chicokid will.....well....um... I dunno :eusa_thin
All this is just hypothetical by the way :eusa_whis

I say we should read the site rules and be more cooperative! lol
I think the debates about sexuality, relationship, and such delights can be done in the said forums.
Debates on other things in the general chit chat.

LOL you got Arch Angel really well, he's such a yes man lol.lol well I won't be disagreeing with the admin in public. I do that behind the scenes. Not good for the image of the team. It's important the team supports the admin in his decisions and answer queries others might have based on his response.
If I disagree with anything he says, I won't be saying anything. :icon_mrgr (in public that is)

That's hypocritical. If you don't support a decision, there is no need to come and say you support it just to front to the forum. You just don't say anything but alas, to each his own. We need more mystic... cos the one one post from unu a guh force her fi guh elsewhere after awhile.
She looks bored.... :dwl:
Nuff nuff threads to read though you know Mystic. Look for posts by Xenocrates. Very insightful. Him start write him own blog now so no time for us small folks...

Not in front of the forum.
I'm not gonna say I support something when I don't support it. If I don't support it, admin a go hear from mi, straight. ;)

you know what just forget about my suggestions it has turned in to some sarcastic debate  and thats not the reason I posted them.
why have a suggestions forum is its gonna be up for debate I just hate that, I already read the rules and this board is okay but it could use some revamping, and I did say you dont have to use them thats why they are called suggestions people

uhm but you did ask what we thought. Also, why shouldn't suggestions be debated. Don't worry though, half these people are jokers, (though some haven't mastered the art of giving jokes), so just take it easy.

debated fine, turn it into a joke not funny, frankly I dont care if they wanna use my suggestion or not I just wont make any more, its quite simple, yeah obviously am so bored by the site yeah right, I like it here some of you on this dont do just sit in the background and lurk.
The site hardly has any new thread and soon as I post it like controversy, a mean what the hell.
First of all the site has so many registered members that dont even post they just register an dont come back and post, and I wonder why?
Secondly member that are actually on the site dont even post a new thread they just reply to the old one that are like 6 months old, when I come on the site there is nothing really do ,than go through the old one , and yeah so much fun.
Some of these forum arent even specific in what you can post where :eusa_wall
I am just so over some of these people on the site , I dont care if you wanna say am sensitive and or making trouble am just speaking my mind
I'll just stay in the back ground if am still around

Jeezam, why you taking it so hard? I've been reading the same thread and I don't see where anybody is attacking you for making suggestions. They are simply giving their views. Manu made a comment about how predictable our moderators have become and they pretty much took the bait for its comedic value IMHO. All we needed was DJ BCK and his Ay Caramba! to top it off. The place really dead more time so I'm sure the life you bring is appreciated.
With that said, it's up to you if you wanna sit in the backseat like the rest of us.

The thing is Mystiqueone... EVERYTHING YOU HAVE SUGGESTED HAS BEEN SUGGESTED COUNTLESS TIMES BEFORE.... from chatrooms to sub-forums and the responses I outlined are always the same. And if we talk about it too much....A_A swoops in and closes the thread... that is how it is. And I'm sure this thread will be closed soon enough after my post... if A_A doesn't delete it before you or anyone else sees it. The admin doesn't really implement suggestions. We've had tons of suggestions... and the only one I remember being implemented is "more emoticons". That's it. When we voice our opinions we get censored and basically told "when you go to Rome... you do as the Romans do" so people come here to link up... read a one joke... and move on. We no longer live on the site like we used to... cos most of who we want to talk to, we have them on our messenger lists so we talk there. That's CY! Am sorry... but I had to tell you how it is. Nobody will back me up because them fraid dem get censored too... but look around the site if you have the time... that's if babylon nuh burn the evidence already. It's Chris' site and he's free to do with it as he pleases.
I should prolly check mi inbox for another censor notice

Everything you have said Manu is false. And because it doesn't even have any truth in it, I won't take time to respond to them. You obviously are taking your grouses from some other site and bringing it here.

Yeah they do. There was some bug in the site and I saw it once when that BCK dude was telling the other admins I was 'out of line' or something like that. :eusa_shif
I don't see the point of sub-forums. If people barely utilize this forum, what is the sense?

But yeah, we have a forum for admin/mod eyes only. In fact, let me add another post in that thread we started about mead the other day. :eusa_whis
