Hmmm, wasn't there something in the Bible about on-third of the life in the ocean dying....?

You're right. It's in Revelation 8:

And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

Read the entire chapter for context.

Wow, everything in Bible Prophecy is being fulfilled at break neck speed. I wonder if prophecy stops for a coffee break? This is getting ridiculous!

From the looks of the uber-hurricanes and such, it doesn't look like anything is stopping soon...

Luke 21
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Pollution induced Greenhouse effect spawned environmental upheavals...

Daaamn - that's a pretty good example BCK. Man, I don't need anymore proof than this that:

1. God is real
2. The bible is real
3. Christ is coming back to kick tyres & light fires

Y'all get yer house in order! This sho' don't look like no coincidence to me!

Y'know what else I think BCK? That Cat 4 & 5 hurricanes are going to be regular occurrences in the years to come. People are going to abandon Florida altogether eventually. I mean, what's the point? Next year they might get 6 hurricanes knocking on their door. It's going to be messy. Reeeal messy.

The sad part to this story is that we all contribute in some way or another to the pollution of the planet. Many of us don't stop to think about the things we do that causes pollution.

So here it is, I am challenging each of us to think about how we can make a difference. Here are some ideas to begin with:

1) Less driving...walk as much as you can, car pool, bike, etc. Do you really need a SUV? (SUVS on average release 5,600 pounds of CO2 into the atmosphere each year, double the amount of the average car driven the same distance - http://www.solcomhouse.com/savetheearth.htm)
2) Reduce, Reuse and Recycle - eg. use rechargeable batteries
3) Conserve energy - use energy efficient appliance, watch less TV
4) Save water
5) Reduce garbage
6) Call, write your govt about protecting the environment.
7) Learn as much as you can. The Internet has a lot of information.

Here are some website with additonal info:
