How can anyone win anything by betting? The odds are heavily stacked against you - administration costs, sponsoring and advertising, licencing, fees, payrolls, electricity and other utilities. You need to spend $1500 to win $500 on average - the other $1000 needed to pay for the above expenses.

One good apple in a barrel doesn't make the rest any better. Betting of any kind only makes poor people waste their hard earned money when they could be using it to put food on the table or saving for a rainy day.

Point taken, but I honestly think betting done in moderation is quite ok, as long as you are not using Johny's lunch money or school book money to gamble with.

I HONESTLY think jamaica should have its OWN lottery organization that places proceeds towards developing the county, not into the pockets of the owners of SVL.
If we should research lottery you will find that lottery in certain parts of world is done for this specific reason. You buy a ticket to contribute to the country, and stand a chance of winning some $$ at the same time.
Right now is a bucket shop them a run
