View Full Version : Your dream car

Now I should expect this tread to fill up fast :icon_lol: but lets post some realistic cars people not a 2010 Lamborghini...o what the hell post away...its your dream car!! Mine would just happen to be a Lamborghini Diablo SV

SV stands for Sports Veloce, It is the latest version of the Diablo, and it has been introduced because it was 25 years ago that the world famous Miura SV came to us. It has a tuned V12 with over 500 Hp, the gear-ratio's are lower than on the normal Diablo, suspension is revised and stiffer dampers are mounted. The brake system is up rated, it has larger, ventilated, cross- drilled discs, and to get more air to the engine two large air intakes are mounted on the roof ( like on the SE's Jota version). Furthermore it's lighter and (very important) cheaper than the standard Diablo. A special race version is also available, this one is called SV-R.

Alright KilaJ check out my dream car. It is a 2004 Bugatti Veyron. Now all the specs you're getting are for the road version. I don't see nothing in it's class.

This baby packs 1001 horsepower. It has a W engine, Two V8 banks, arranged at 90 degrees, center-mounted lengthwise in front of rear axle. Now for the transmission. The car has a seven-gear transmission. The transmission is sequentially switched through toggle switches on the steering wheel. There is now clutch, the double clutch system permits switching times of maximally 0.2sec. It's a 4wd and officially it's the fastest production car around. Now imagine if i had them build a custom design race version unoo worst couldn't see me when mi ina dat.

In the real world, this 736kW and 1250Nm combines with the 7-speed, all-wheel drive transmission and a 1600kg kerb weight to propel the Bugatti Veyron to 100km/h from rest in 2.9 seconds. That's very quick.

Just to put that in perspective, the Veyron generates more power than four of Subaru's potent WRXs put together.

Made of aluminium and magnesium (to keep weight down), the 7993cc W16 powerplant has four turbochargers and four camshafts, one for each bank of four cylinders respectively.

If that isn't enough, the four-wheel drive chunk of exotica will hit 300km/h in 14.0 seconds flat and can cruise at 400km/h with ease. The car is electronically limited to 400km/h (248 mph), though if de-restricted the 8.0-litre coupe would be capable of at least 450km/h, perhaps more if the final-drive ratio and fuel-injection mapping was tweeked.

So, at the end of the day, Volkswagen has not only built one hell of a coupe, but it now also has bragging rights to the world's fastest car - and a direct swipe at the likes of McLaren's F1, Lamborghini's Murcielago and Ford's GT.

The Bugatti Veyron is expected to cost roughly €750,000, which is about $1,300,000 in local currency. It is expected that a handful will make their way to Australia, but most will be sold in Europe.

The new all-wheel drive Veyron has more power than the current crop of Formula One cars, and with its massive 8.0-litre, quad turbo engine, carbon fibre-reinforced chassis and aluminium body panels, there are few cars out there today that combine such technical sophistication with a look that's quite unorthodox, yet strangely appealing.

check out this link for a heads up.

Great Job.

My car may be a dream, my decision to buy one isn't ;) . Love the spec on your car though.

You will be cruising beyond the speed of sound should you get on a good straight. You can tell me what it feels like :)

I got nothing against dreaming, but I prefer it keep it real. Even if you could afford to buy one of those vehicles, you couldn't afford to keep them. Mike Tyson had trouble holding onto one of those, and he was worth 300 mill before he went broke...

Finally, those cars aren't street legal. Even if they were, where in Jamaica is long and straight enough for you to drive monsters like those? ...

To each his own. I'm not a sports car fanatic (in fact I hate sports cars - all that speed and HP for no good reason). Now here's a truly wonderful car that is not only relatively attainable by people who are not playboys or rap stars, but is also an excellent luxury sedan. I present to you the 2004 Audi A8:

Checkout these interiors:

A foine vehicle if there ever was one. German engineering at the height of its class. This is the same design and engineering that is being put into the new VW Bugs that you see around these days. It was Audi inspired. Now here's a dream car worth dreaming about... ;)

The Mclaren F1 IS street legal, but for me its all about the driving experience. But back into the real world, I'll be getting me a Toyota Starlet GT Turbo.
