Going to Meet the Mother..

Im going to meet my friends mother for the first time and I don't know what to wear. I am not trying to make a big deal out of it, because he is taking me to meet his mother for the first time. I just dont know what to wear to meet her. Should I wear a dress or casual slacks and blouse? Should I not wear something to revealing and cover up everything or be myself and wear whatever I feel like. Im a trendy dresser, but I don't want his mother to think Im showing to much. Any ideas about this nightmare? why am I going help! :confused:

Ok I found some dresses, I thought maybe a black dress. Can you go wrong with a black dress? We are going out for dinner at a nice resturant, so I want to look good.

Drew thanks for taking the time to respond to me. I love the first one you picked and I have a dress that looks almost like that one except it has some silver sequins on it. But I think I will go with the first one you are a sweetheart. I know your woman loves you for that all women love a man who can be sensitive. All you guys take a lesson from Drew here. He knows the real deal right Drew.

I dont have long hair I have medium hair almost short. I have discovered along time ago that I have nappy roots and I think I can thank my daddy for that he must have the stronger gene, cause I didnt get my mama's hair at all. So my dad is the cause of my naps and he was good about giving me thick hair but stingy to give me any siblings. what a dad he is. You go dad!

To get back on the subject I know what his mom looks like she is about 5'6 or 5'7 and about 60 years old. With salt and pepper hair and its cut short and close to her head. He showed me a picture of her and she is conservative, she so tight that she probably squeaks when she walks.(lol) I get to meet her friday night so whopee for me.

found some hairstyles- the one on the bottom left 3rd row looks like my hairstyle. So its what Im wearing cause I dont do wigs. You know.

sorry i didnt answer this before i have to get my travel vouchers filled out.
