Does anyone drink/still drink Red Bull?
After seeing & reading the recent reports linking Red Bull to some 15+ deaths, I have decided to stop drinking it. Now I have no choice but to go back to Black Ice. :(

Isn't it weird that cigarette kills thousands a day and some people accept death from it so easy, that even the same doctor who tells you to quit carries a carton home at nights. Why then contest a simple soda pop with a few additional energy benefits. Its just what you mix it with kicks your brain off course.

Good point made spiral. It goes to show the many inconsistencies we have in our daily lives ;)

Spiral is it medically proven that it actually gives extra energy. Does it give any of you peeps that drink it any extra energy? It sure does not give me any extra energy. I guess it may all be in the mind.
Anyways I know people that drink red bull mixed with guiness. Or use it to chase rum. That's crazy and will get you anyone killed. It's practically harmless as you said Spiral on it's own that is but once mixed can cause hell.

Red Bull has caffeine and other electrolytic additives that not only spurs the development of hormones that forces the extra production of adrenaline, but it's also good for keeping you awake when you need to pull an all nighter. Coffee does something similar, but nobody mixes Appleton with a hot cup of coffee. Now that Red Bull delivers similar chemicals in a cool drink, the temptation is more prevalent.
If you mix Red Bull with alcohol, then the by products of those chemicals become instantaneously lethal. The concoction releases a deadly anti-oxidant in your blood that can potentially cause permanent damage to the liver and send one's blood pressure up to some dangerous levels, causing stroke and hemorrhaging in the brain in some cases. That's instantaneous death.
Don't mix Red Bull with anything. It was not intended to be mixed with anything else. It was originally intended for extreme athletes. All of this is just bad press for the company on behalf of stupid people who use their products in the wrong way, and then turn around and sue the company. That's why so many products today have these ridiculous warning labels on them sometimes. Take these for example:
On an iron: "Do not use non-steam setting to press Silk"
On a TV: "Only intended for indoor use"
On a Bar-B-Que Grill: "Only intended for outdoor use"
Soon on Red Bull cans: "This product contains adrenaline spurring chemicals. Do not mix with Alcohol."
...I mean.....DUUUH!!!
You'd have to be really dumb to get killed by a tiny can of soda. http://gallery.cybertarp.com/albums/userpics/16619/foolish.gif

If you overdoes on an adrenaline spurring agent and go out and do some extrenuous activity, don't be surprised if you drop dead from a heart attack. Your blood pressure would be so high that your heart would literally explode inside your chest.
I bet that girl was blonde. LOL :icon_mrgr
...no, I shouldn't laugh. Death is not funny. But she is not smart either...
