ok, so i'm sitting in church ready to take out my offering. and i look in my wallet and see x and x2. now x2 is twice the amount of x but is dirty. now they say you must give God your best. now is the best a nice clean x or a dirty twice x, x2.
what you guys think??

Remember that your offering does not go to God, but to the Church. God does not need money just your Love. The offering you give is to maintain the Church, so it does not matter the state of the money.

I'm surprised you had to think about it Drew.

if you feel led to give the x2 then give it, dirty or clean. It's what's in your heart and your spirit in giving the offering that matters and not the physical state of the money.

I think you've failed to realise the very point of Christ's appearance on earth my friend. Christ matches the heart with the deed. If you had to think about it, there's a very good chance that either way, Christ probably wouldn't accept it.
Giving should not be something you have to think about. You think money means anything to God? I sincerely doubt that he could care less. If your heart is not at that place, it doesn't matter how pretty or dirty your money is, or how well dressed you think you are. God walks far from a haughty spirit and he sees the proud from afar off.
What he's looking for is humility in your spirit, not the texture, refinement or cleanliness of your money. You can keep it for all he cares. ;)

I really don't understand the dilema...don't seem like a big deal to me. Who the heck taking notice of whether the money dirty or clean? It's money I don't think any one cares 2 hoots, muchless Christ. It's the thought that counts :)
