Cow's milk vs Soy milk

I love my regular cow's milk, but I notice recently that persons are switching to soy milk; they say its heathier. I am sticking to my good old cow's milk, which one do you prefer soy or cow's milk?

From I was young I had a problem with regular cow's milk, it would sometimes give me headaches and a less than good feeling in my stomach ;) I've since outgrew these adverse reactions but they've been replaced by problems with my sinuses when I drink milk ... or so I'm told. I still can't definitively prove that milk causes this in me - could be mere coincidence. Anyway, to play it safe I've switched to soy milk. At first I was opposed to trying it but it wasn't so bad after trying it. I still haven't gotten totally used to the taste, but hey, I haven't had the sinus probs since :)

Soy and I don't mix. At one point milk and I didn't but we growing on each other. Soy on the other hand....YUK.

Soy milk ah di worst. I don't see how peeps can drink something that taste that bad, then again, not everyone is the same. To some milk might taste like how we say Soy milk does. :confused:

ok don't want to burst your bubbles peeps but cow's milk is not good for human comsumption. It can causes with sinus and asthma. It gives builds up mucus and other bacteria in the body.

Think about it. A calf drinks it's mother's milk and reaches way over 200 pounds in months. Why are we drinking it? do you all really think it is good for us?

Personally Soy milk hype.

Used to love cow's milk....which i now avoid....
I now use soy which is more healthy....one thing though...it takes a while to get used to it..

I think everything has it's good side and bad side. People have been drinking cow's milk for centuries and didn't die of it. As with everything we have to do it in moderation.

Chris I too have the same prob with cow's milk, sinus and it bugs my stomach. I have to confess and say I still drink it. I also drink soy milk too.

BTW soy proucts are very good for you but again if you over use it, it comes with it's own set of problems.

Have you read some of the stuff under 'soy' 'AK',if not,then maybe you won't. I only read a page or so but the downside seems to easily outweigh any positve benefit it has. :confused:

Chocolate soy tastes really good, but I guess it depends on the brand. So shop around.

SOY!!!

Mi affi convert to soy. Mi have exema (if a so it spell) so mi affi bear di bad taste till mi get used to it. Now it taste better than milk to me.

Plus mi get rid of the running belly, that used to mess mi up whenever mi no drink milk in a long while and start back suddenly.

Never tried it either, the name alone sounds sickenning. Stopped drinking cows milk along time ago. Dont they say milk, gives u strong bones and away from.....(cant remember the name of the disease).

I drink both whole and skim cows milk, I also drink soy milk too. i R not pickey!

Cows milk is very fatty though, but I hope all you fighters of cows milk dont eat cheese

Really? I like that weird taste....maybe is cause I don't drink milk often...my body craves it.... I will just drink an half gallon in one go....then don't drink anymore for about 3 months...

while making breakfast this morning I decided to read the nutrition facts on the back
of my pack of lasco soy milk, I was shocked to see that it contained saturated fat
and cholesterol.. I thought this stuff was supposed to be healthy?
I then looked at the back of a packet of skim milk powder and it didnt contain any of
the bad stuff, too bad it doesnt taste good :(
