If that was applied to everything else in life, people should stop driving because they might crash and get hurt.
People shouldn't leave thier homes to go to work because they might get shot and killed.

But they still do don't they? But why?
They take precautions. They are careful.

So why don't you do the same when it comes to love?
Be friends with the person first and build a freindly relationship. Get to know them first.
If you do that, you are less likely to get hurt, just like in real life.
