Soucouyant, L'Diablesse, Lagahoo, Mama D'leau...

I've heard the stories- i'm sure you've heard them too -especially the Trinis. My father had me convinced as a child that he was sucked by a soucoyant. He even showed me the marks on his skin. Everyday after that I watched cotton tree at the back of my house very carefully at nights..
Have you ever seen any one of these characters in real? If so, ah want to know when, where, under what circumstances, everything!!

My grandmother used to tell me stories about La Diablesse... I remember she said the lady is beautiful, but has goat feet and she lures men to their deaths... but if you wear your clothes inside out... she won't mess with you

we have the same thing here only we refer to them as duppies
