Default Why do people fall for scams?

Why do people fall for scams?

Everytime I hear about somebody falling for a lottery scam, I shudder. Why do people fall for something which is so obviously a trick?

Greed. Plain and simple greed. Mixed with a bit of "Oh my! I'm famous! I've been singled out, picked out among millions!".

To them, it seems like minimum risk, maximum gains. All other warning bells are silenced.

But come on now ... if you've never entered a lottery, how on earth could you believe that you've won one?

I wouldn't hazard a guess as to how many Jamaicans have downloaded Antivirus XP 2009, so you cannot lay blame to any one section of the world....

I watch a tv show called hustler its based on con men from london, they go by this motto " you cannot con a honest man" so believe it or not if you get con/scam u were probably trying to get away with something these people played on evil side
