And people raise an eyebrow when I tell them we have the 4th most corrupt government in the world. Who voted these punks in anyway? Oh nevermind...
I did some digging for news articles which showed links which politicians had to criminals. Intresting reading considering recent protests voiced by some politicians to the sigining of the PSOJ spawned declaration in which politicians were to commit to renounce any associations with criminals.
Cops to quiz Babsy - Car driven by slain "One Order" don linked to MP

good research BCK, keep them coming.
These are interesting links BCK. Well researched.
On TVJ's programme called "The Issues", or sumthing to that effect, one politician (PNP) commented that she would not be signing the PSOJ agreement becuz the declaration alludes to the fact that they are already in ties with criminals. (the declaration states that they should "do away with criminal ties"). She stated that as politicians they already signed a similar agreement and the PSOJ is just inferring that they are involved in criminal activities...
To me, i guess it wouldn't matter, cuz if i'm not guilty then signing it would be no problem. If i were proud, then it would be like saying sorry for something i did not or would never do! then again, the same would be true if i were a lying, guilty politician.
In any case, the PSOJ is starting a good thing. If as business leaders they could agree to do away with extortion (and i'm sure not all of them were supporting this disturbing pattern) then politians shouldnt be so darned touchy about this PSOJ’s Emancipation declaration.

I wonder if this is how Jamaica used to be in the 1950's & 60's. Kinda makes you wonder if it was a good idea when the white folks let us run our own business.
