i think Jehovah's Witnesses fall under christianity
they just don't like to be classified under it
i would love to know whats the difference between christianity and jehovah's witnesses?? christians have told me that jehovah's witnesses are wrong and that they are right and when i asked for proof they say its in the bible but they cant tell where in the bible them find it
I know what it's like to want to die. How it hurts to smile. How you try to fit in, but you can't, How you hurt yourself on the outside, to try to kill the pain on the inside. If you look inside my heart you`d see how much i really cry, you`ll find secrets hidden, best friends, and lies, but what you`ll see the most is how hard it is to stay strong when nothing`s right & everything`s wrong

but the bible clearly states that jesus said " I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

As far as I know...works alone will never get you into heaven....nor grace alone. Plus, you hve to witness to get others into heaven. If works were the admission to heaven, alot of people would be at an unfair advantage and probably wouldn't be deserving.

It would be interesting if a JW can respond to this thread to give a little insight into their doctrine.

But doesn't the Good Samaritan parable figure into this? That it does not matter your faith, if you help someone you do not know, you are his brother and will get preference over the pious ones?Originally Posted by Manu

Half my family are JW and they are NOT called christians. They believe in Jehovah God and that God is Jehovah. Although christians may believe in "Jehovah God". Moreover, they believe that the Holy Spirit that christians believe in is a "force" and not a person or member of the God Head aka Trinity.
They some may think they are cults/occults, some may think they are christians, however, a Jehovah's Witness thinks they are just a seperate entity from religion and its different divisions.
