Default A Call To The Guyanese

What is the plural of Guyanan? Is it just an added 's'? Anyway I have heard it said on the radio a few moments ago that Guyanese people are 'loving'. Is this true? If it is considered a true statement, what is it about Guyana which would make it such a pleasant place to live in?

Thanking you, one and all, in anticipation.

Them say Jamaicans are loving too. Them only love you when you're high-coloured or green coloured (nuff money). But I heard Guyana have murder probs too. Anyone to clarify?

Good point Manu. This is the reason why I posed the question, because someone I used to work with went to Guyana for a wedding or some such. And he had claimed that there was a gun battle battle going off near by.

Then I heard it said the other morning on the radio that the Guyanese were quite a loving nation,so I thought I would ask directly.Get in in context perhaps.

Trinidadians do the same! We fit the match! Aren't "we" as "lovin"? The term "we" was used loosely. Can one person speak out for his/her entire nation generousity?

when some 1 is in trouble we help so therfore we r generous

Question-Therefore one is generous? If thats the case, Im sure not "all" guyaneses fit that description.

But I heard Guyana have murder probs too. Anyone to clarify?

Question- Who better to answer than a guyanese himself?

Anyway I have heard it said on the radio a few moments ago that Guyanese people are 'loving'. Is this true?
Can this very same statement not be said about Americans, Trinidadians or even Jamacians etc.? Futhermore...every nation got its ups and downs, positives as well as its negatives! The earth's surface, are populated with "lovin" people. Dont always believe one person's point-of-view! Rather base it on experience! The person who said this, probably never came in contact with a handful random "unlovin" guyaneses and placed his/her judgement from there!

But ur makin it sound like Guyanese are the only one's generous, everyone's generous in their own right, us Trini's are there for eachother too, everyone is always there for one another. Thats just a sterotype of one's personal opinion, they could of experienced one guyanese person who was nice and caring to them but u cant judge what u dont know, because i know everyone's generous and lovin, my homeboy's a Jamaican and he's a tru friend no matter what religion or race.
