After a week or two I usually start eliminatin'
But we got thru the convo on the phone
Now we finally chillin' in the condo all alone
I tried to be the expressive, without bein' aggressive

    Yes.

    1. Why demand equality if we're not willing to accept it in all arenas.

    2. If I see a guy and I want him to spend the rest of his life with me, why not snatch him or at least attempt?

    3. A proposal, is the simplest of steps in a worthy, fulfilling marriage, it's the least I could do, if he's gonna help me make our marriage last, now THAT takes a lot of work.

    4. Sometimes, waiting on a man to step up and be a man, and pop the question, ends up in a 25 year common law living...we nuh inna dat.

My girlfriend said she wouldn't propose. She wants me to do it. Maybe she thinking about her going down on her knees? It doesn't have to be. Can propose over a candle light dinner or while you slow dancing or something.

I have seen where women propose to their guys on the TLC channel. So it's not taboo. lol

But the male is the one that is going to take care of the female (in most cases) and when he is ready to take that step, should propose.

I would be pretty embarrassed if my g/f proposed to me still. lol

Yeah women, step up to the plate and be a real woman. Propose to your guys, and risk the same rejection y'all like to dish out.

For real though, not many women are up for that. Plenty of them have self-esteem so fragile, that the thought of rejection alone cripples them, not to mention the thought that in order for them to seem desireable and have worth as a female, a man has to be the one to pursue her. Plenty of them can't face dem sistren an' tell dem seh, a dem ask di man fi deh wid har fi life.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with it though, and what women need to realise is that men like to feel appreciated too. If you both love each other, and respect each other, then there is nothing wrong with either one of you expressing that love and respect, and the desire to be together for ever.

If I mustered up enough courage, sure. I wouldnt get on one knee though. I'd jump in his lap, and propose.
