How true, my proposal had none of those down on one knee garbage, it made me appreciate the gesture more because it was "HIM" from the build up to the words themselves. Nothing out of dem white movie dere. Nothing from Madea Family reunion either.

YES i would propose. I believe in going after what you want......if you are certain that the feeling is mutual. I am not sure about the ring-cause i have never really seen a male engagement ring. However, if there is one i would be more than happy to prove to the one i love that i want to spend the rest of my life with in the correct way with references to the bible).
