Au contraire- Coconut milk added to curry makes for fantastic flavour in many dishes. Go to any authentic Indian restaurant and they'll tell you. My mother makes a wicked curry paw paw (too which she adds coconut milk -the aroma is just wow!) The pawpaw is cooked green. That dish is simply divine with white rice!!

I think the Chinese refer to the mixing of fruit and vegetables as .. sweet 'n' sour. It is a very popular flavour in Britain.

we're not talking about mixing fruits and vegetables ES- we're talking about adding curry (Indian spices) to cooked paw paw (the fruit).

Here are some other things that taste great curried:-
    eggs
    chatagne
    eddoes
    crab *(all seafood)
all poultry- e.g. chicken, duck, wildfowl
all wildmeat- e.g. iguana, tattoo, lappe, manicou
some fruits- mango, pommecythere, paw paw
most vegetables- potato, channa, pumpkin, bhaigan(melongene), bhagi (spinach)*note many vegetables are simply cooked and curry not necessarily added.
    corned beef

when i think of more stuff i'll post it!
