Probably but there is a big question as to why such a mistake was done and why was PRC anthem played so fluently at the end.

I'll bet they must have done pratices before the actual day. Given that Grenada had relations with ROC on Taiwan, ROC anthem must have been played before so how come no one in the band even realised they were making a grave mistake. Unless they figured that PRC and ROC had the same anthem.

Some people think it was deliberate and it occured days after some Taiwan bank apparently sued the Grenada Government in a US court for US$21.6 million on what they claimed was payment on defaulted loans.

Ok....it was bad enough that he played the wrong anthem..... but no other official picked it up? Why couldn't someone stop them and then let them play the right one??? And why waste resources to find out how it happened? It is obviously a mistake. Just apologise and move on. What else you going to do? Turn back time?

To you and I an apology may work, but playing the anthem of China's arch enemy IN FULL isn't something I'll bet the Chinese would take lightly.

This was probably evident in that no Chinese Official attended an Independence treat for all foreign embassadors and foreign bodies currently residing in the spice isle.
