Default Does the music affect everyday life?

Ladies and Gents do you think the music or what is contained in the music influences people to do stuff?
Confucious say "he who knows not and knows that he knows not is a fool, shun him." "he who knows not and knows that he knows not, is a child teach him"

no it should not... so the next time you assault a dude jus tell the judge it is kartel or movado fault cause they said it in their lyrics and see if it is them who go to jail
Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truely, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you

You did not answer the question. It's easy for one to say that it shouldn't, but it actually does. Listen to the things our youths say, the slangs they use, the way men (mis)treat women, the way they dress...

It's all influenced by the music.
You know what?! Just live everyday as if it's your last.
Why? Because one of these days, you're gonna be sooo right.

This song influenced much of my life. There's a message for everybody in this song. We all need to wake up:

Harold Melvin The Bluenotes - Wake Up Everybody

Wake up everybody no more sleeping in bed
No more backward thinkin time for thinkin ahead
The world has changed so very much
From what it used to be so
There is so much hatred war and poverty
Wake up all the teachers time to teach a new way
Maybe then they'll listen to what you have to say
Cause they're the ones who's coming up and the world is in their hands
When you teach the children teach them the best you can.

    Chorus
The world won't get no better if we just let it be
The world won't get no better we gotta change it yeah, just you and me.

Wake up all the doctors make the ol' people well
They're the ones who suffer an' who catch all the hell
But they don't have so very long before the Judgement Day
So won'tcha make them happy before they pass away.
Wake up all the builders time to build a new land
I know we can do it if we all lend a hand
The only thing we have to do is put it in our mind
Surely things will work out they do it every time.

    Repeat Chorus
Life: "It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." - MacBeth

Providence protects children and idiots. I know because I have tested it.
    Echinsu Ocha
    Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra
Social occasions are only warfare concealed.
"Why did God make us so different if he wanted us to all be the same?"

What's the point of this discussion?

Somebody already start to turn the thread on its head.

The fact is that people who like a certain type of music will never see anything wrong or negative about its influence on people. So what's the point?
If at first you don't succeed, give up and stop making a fool of yourself.

It is better to be a live coward than to be a dead idiot.
