    Question Active members

Chris, notice a feature in the stastics section showing active members. How does Caribyard deem a member to be active?

When they login to the forum, they are active, when they log out, they are removed from the active list. If they don't logout, they are removed after about 20 mins of inactivity, from the list.

I know about that part but do we presently have 201 members logged in? According to the stastics, Active Members: 201

The rest are search bots: Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc.

Chico, I just realised what you are talking about. I didn't notice the "Active Members" info on the front of the forums. Must be new with the recent updates. Wasn't there before.

I am not sure how it determines who is active or not. Maybe it counts persons who have logged in within a particular time frame?

I would think that active members would be the number of members who participate in the forums out of the total membership base. Not visitors in a sense.

You mean persons with more than 0 posts? Could be. I'll look into it and see if I find any info on it.

That would be sad. Only 220 people have actually posted? I don't believe that!
