Looks like I may be right. Two worlds are uninhabitable, the space shuttle has limited range and the third has no plant vegetation (no CO2 means no plant life).

You were spot on ramesh. You sure you didn't write that episode?

I am amazed how the ship went into the center of the star and not burn up. I mean, the ship didn't even feel any turbulence. Only way people knew something was wrong was because of the time it took for the ship to be burnt up. Otherwise, they were quite peaceful.

Even Elli and di girl was enjoying the view, as the ship coasted above the hot star. lol

I am guilty ..... of watching too many scifi shows. It's getting so that I can read the writers' minds about what will happen. I've also reached the point where I can predict the actual dialogue. It's that scary.

A bit too peaceful. The amount of dampening needed for that to occur would be mind numbing to calculate. There should have even been some kind of rhythmic rocking at least.

It's a big wonder to me how the scifi writers treat artificial gravity. Remember, there is no real up or down in space. So the creators of the ship had to make it seem (no matter where the person was in relation to the ship) that the "bottom" of the ship was "down" and the "top" of the ship was "up". For artificial gravity, most well thought out scifi use a rotating ship where "down" would be the centre or hub of the ship. But seeing the miracles that the technomage Ancients were able to achieve, it may be less of a shock and of writing expertise to just ignore the whole thing altogether.

I also found it strange (and this has always puzzled me) why star travelers are so interested in when their birthday is. In space, your birthday means little, especially when moving at FTL. They make such a big deal when they say, "Oh it's after 12, so it's my Birthday".

Stargate Universe begins the first of the 10 final episodes today, bringing an end to the Stargate franchise from 1994 to now. It will be interesting to see what they can bring to top it.
