That looked like an own goal from Honduras, giving Chile a 1-0 lead. Own goals seem to be the in thing these days.

Chile moved the ball very well for that goal. They are dominating the ball play.

wow did you see the challenge the spain's goalkeeper made on the switz attacker before the goal. arguable if they didn't score it would have been a penalty I think. I think he was pretty lucky he didn't get carded for that and the switz were too happy to protest.

What an upset! I really expected better from Spain. The games so far have proven my initial thinking that this World Cup will see many upsets.

what a shocker. Spain the overwhelming favorites have been beaten by the switz. First upset of the fifa 2010 world cup. On paper spain is the best team in the world cup but that didn't seem to waiver Switzerland, they played cool calm and collected in defense were well organized and made good passes on the counter attack. They not only scored one but very nearly scored two when the switz attacker nicely dismissed two spainish defenders before hitting the post would have been a great goal if it had went in. Spain also had a screamer that hit the post. Great stuff great stuff!

Spain always over-hyped. Every world cup, they have a phenomenal team on paper, but in reality, they fail to deliver when it counts.

I think a Spanish defender even handled the ball in that scramble.

It is now official. Germany is the best looking team in this World Cup. They execute and capitalized on their chances. They were good in defence. Germany will win!
