    Default 'BMW X6' killer

Anyone following this saga? What are you thoughts on the Police's lack of disclosing the suspect's name?

I can understand the Police's need to prevent their case from being compromised, but that should extend to ALL their investigations - not just this one.

I have no objection to their use of the term "Person of Interest". It is the Public that has changed the meaning to suit their purpose. What term can the Police use that will not be taken by the Public and turned into whatever meaning they assume?

I agree, they should be consistent with all their cases, but unfortunately that's not the case. Let's see if any of the other persons of interest file a lawsuit against the Police for unfair treatment.

I had read that some of the artists whose names we listed as persons of interest and publish in the media are planning to sue the JCF. Don't blame them at all.

The police have now charged Patrick Powell with Khajeel Mais' murder. The charges are as follows: murder, shooting with intent, illegal possession of firearm, illegal possession of ammunition and failure to produce firearm for inspection. Woah, that's a long a serious list. http://go-jamaica.com/news/read_article.php?id=30290

Never heard of this fella before, then again, I hardly know of anybody.

His name was brandished by the Herald during the investigation, while the other newspapers were ordered to keep his identity quiet. I'm pretty sure his defense will be that his gun was missing and that there's no direct proof that his vehicle was used or that he could be positively identified in the few seconds the incident took place.
