Popular entertainment personality, Horace Lewis more popularly known as L.A Lewis has been fined $70,000 for breaches of the National Solid waste Act.

The national Solid Waste Management Authority says he was fined yesterday for illegally defacing public spaces across the corporate area.

It said Lewis was served the notices by members of its Enforcement Team.

The NSWAMA said Lewis, who refused to accept the tickets, will have 21 days to pay the fines, or appear before the Half-Way-Tree Resident Magistrate’s Court.

The agency said failure to comply with the removal notices within the next 14 days could see Lewis facing fines of up to $700,000.
