    Default 2011 General Elections

So with general elections on the horizon in the Christmas breeze, what's the feeling out there?

Silly Season is what I call it. I haven't voted since I was 18 so perhaps I shouldn't have a say, but my feeling is the choice is between frying pan and fire.

Silly season indeed. My hope is that with new and younger blood in Government we'll see some improvement in accountability and decisions being made.

Portia should make way for someone younger, such as Paulwell or Lisa.
The PNP needs someone less loud and boisterous at the helm.

I agree, they need a new and younger leader if they're to survive. However, Paulwell has too much baggage and Lisa is seen as inexperienced.

The thing is that Andrew has been in politics for longer than Lisa and besides, running the Ministry of Education has given him experience that someone who hasn't run a Ministry can't get. Being the Opposition spokesperson is way different that being the actual Minister.

Well, whoever you vote for: vote early and vote secret. I haven't voted for 25+ years and won't today. Perhaps next election....

I know that Chris, however I have been disenchanted with both parties and only once in a while seen any glimmer of hope from either of them.
