CAL Baggage Allowance restrictions

#‎caribbeanairlines‬, I wish you to clarify your position on baggage fees. As per the news story carried in the media recently, you are going to start charging for luggage soon (date unspecified), whereas currently we are allowed two bags free.

The reported reason - persons traveling one-way on another (reportedly cheaper) airline (with no bags) and returning on CAL to Jamaica with two loaded bags, hampering your profitability.

As a person who regularly traveled on another Airline that went to from Montego Bay to Miami (you do not service this route anymore) and recently switched to your airline because you still allowed two bags and they stopped, even though the trip to FLL is longer and a higher price, you have made my decision to switch back to the Miami airline that much easier, since there is no advantage of going all the way to FLL when MIA on that other airline is a quicker and cheaper flight and they have WIFI on board where you do not.

Looks like they're using a lame excuse to start charging more fees from their passengers. Free market, choose the airline that provides you the most value etc.
