I have a friend from Guyana and everytime I talk to her it is as if she is a different person....It is so weird that now I refuse to deal with her. then I also find that she can change from your friend to your enemy in 2 seconds or less. Is it this person or are more guyana females this strange?

LOL...You will find weird ppl from all types of cultures, it's not just Guyanese women. I have 2 friends who are Guyanese and they are really cool, they are 2 sisters.

To answer your question... some women are like that no matter the culture. In fact, people are like that no matter where they are from. So it is not just Guyanese women.

If this is a problem to you the way your friend acts, then I would bring the issue to her so that she can know what she is doing to you as a friend.

I have to agree with everyone they are weird ppl in every culture. Maybe she is going through some kind of problem and instead of her talkin to u as a friend she is taking it out on you. Or sometimes the reality is maybe thats just how her personality is. But I hope her attitude does not stop u from becoming friends with other guyanese. talkin on behalf of the guyanese women who are true friends (lol) But like JB said talk to her and let her know and if she does not see her attitude as a problem then its sad to say but u will have to drop her as a friend.

In response to your question gaylee, ppl are like that no matter their class or race, its up to you to know wether or not you can accommodate someone with that personality in your life.

I have a Guyanese male friend and he's a really cool dude. i know ppl from other caribbean islands both male and female and they are really nice ppl.
